GUIDELINES FOR THE COMPLETION OF THE APPLICATION FORM FOR REGISTRATION IN CYPRUS
Registration is compulsory for nurses and midwives
who wish to practice as General Nurses, Mental Health Nurses or as Midwives in
the Republic of Cyprus.
Please read the registration form carefully and
follow the instructions. If your application form is not completed
appropriately, it will be returned to you and will not be processed until it is
corrected.
For any required information or queries you may
have concerning the completion of the registration form, you may contact the
Registrar of the Nursing and Midwifery Council at the Ministry of Health at the
telephone numbers: 22 400201, 22 400120 or 22 400132.
Your completed application form should be sent to the Registrar of the Nursing and Midwifery Council, Ministry of Health, 10 Markou Drakou Street, 1448 Nicosia, Republic of Cyprus.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR ALL OTHER APPLICANTS
1] Monitoring and caring for pregnant women during
the course of their pregnancy (state numbers)
2] Monitoring and caring for women during labour
(state numbers)
3] Deliveries (state numbers)
4] Active participation in deliveries (state
numbers)
5] Active participation in breech presentation
deliveries (state numbers)
6] Active participation in perineotomy and
suturing
7] Monitoring and caring for pregnant women during
high risk pregnancies and labour or during the postnatal period (state
numbers)
8] Monitoring and caring for women and healthy
neonates during the postnatal period (state numbers)
9] Monitoring and caring for neonates requiring special care, including premature or post mature neonates, low weight and sick neonates.
Please note:
All documents;
certificates/diplomas/degrees must be certified copies and, where necessary,
translated into the Greek or English language by the competent authority of the
country of origin of the applicant or by the Public Information Office of the
Republic of Cyprus
